299051 — Concrete Wedge Anchors

    Concrete wedge anchor is one of the most widely used mechanical expansion anchors, made by one time forming cold forging technology,designed the full or long external thread to adjust the fixing length more easily during installing.

    The steel expanding clip is the most critical working mechanism point, wrapped around anchor wedge body to assure full expansion function to achieve secure tensile strength and holding power,not falling off and twist in the hole. To hammer and insert stud wedge anchor into a pre-drilled hole in base materials and fasten the hex nut and make the clip expand to fix and install the objects in the concrete, masonry, stone and solid brick wall substrate.  

    Concrete wedge anchor bolts or throughbolts is made of carbon steel 4.8 - 8.8 grade and stainless steel 304 and 316 having Unc-thread inch size and Metric size. Steel galvanized wedge anchor bolt is suitable for dry indoor application. Hot dipped galvanized wedge anchors are used in outdoor humid environment.304 stainless steel wedge anchor is suitable for humid indoor and outdoor environment. 316 SS wedge anchor bolts is used in immersion corrosive liquid environment and with special installation requirements. 

     In addition,with the continuous improvement of environmental protection requirements, the spray Dacromet coating process on the surface of steel fasteners has been emerging, which is more suitable for the environment with high salt concentration and humidity. The performance of anti-corrosion, anti-rust and environmental protection are much better than other surface treatments.

[Installation Instruction]:

(1). Drill a hole in the base material to ensure the proper diameter and depth required.

(2). Use a nylon brush to remove all debris and dust.

(3). Pass wedge anchor body through a guide hole in the object and vertically align with a drilled hole in the substrate.

(4). Hammer the head to insert into the hole.

(5). Fasten the hex nut by tool until being fixed fully.
