302015 — Universal Metal Anchor

    Universal metal anchor is made of steel sheet material and manufactured by punching machine, designed to provide medium-heavy duty loading in hollow wall, brick wall, concrete or masonry base structure materials for installation purpose of anchoring and fixing the objects. It could be directly hammered into the base material without drilling holes in soft foundation materials. It has high retention strength even in super large holes.

     Universal metal wall plug is designed a hollow structure having screw guilding and positioning mechanism . The upper end of metal wall plug is made into a sleeve shape, the lower end is made into a conical metal wall plug shape forming four divided steel shields with external saw teeth on both sides of each steel shield to enhance the friction and tensile strength to ensure heavy duty loading. Meantime, the lower end of universal metal expansion wall plug close together in a natural state and look like a christmas tree, which is called by christmas tree anchor or saw anchor. Universal metal wall plug needs to be used with wood screw, self-drilling screw to realize installation purpose.To fix the object, drive the screw into anchor body through the installing guide hole in the object to expand metal wall plug and generate expansion force to complete the installation operation.

     Metal expansion plugs can directly replace plastic wall plugs and use in the places of fire protection considerations, special installing base material or greater loading needed where do not allow the use of plastic wall anchors.

Installation Instruction:

1. Drill a hole in the base material to ensure the correct diameter and embedment depth.

2. Use a nylon brush or high pressure air pump to remove all debris and dust.

3. Insert universal metal anchor into the drilled hole until being flush with the surface.

4. Pass a screw through a guide hole in the fixture and vertically aligned with and close to a substrate hole.

5. Tighten screw by tool until be fixed fully.
