300688 — TAM Anchor

    TAM anchor possesses simple and ingenious design. Anchor body is made of a whole steel sheet, rolled and divided into cylinder shape and 4 sections shield shape separated and connected by punching machine, also called by tam shield anchor or tam sleeve anchor.The double fins and the scales shape on shield anchor tam surface have anti-rotation function and increase friction in the pre-drilled hole during installation. A red plastic plug inserted into cone nut protect internal threads in cone nut from dust and impurity to ensure the threads to rotate freely.

    Metric or Inch internal thread in cone nut allow to use mm or inch standard screws or other fasteners for ideal fixing and intalling to be suitable for various application purposes. Stainless steel tam anchor is used in special installing place for special application purpose. During installing, to fasten the bolt or other fasteners assembled, a cone nut is pulled into and expand entirely steel tam anchor body to form 4 sections of buttom separated-top connected shield shape and generate four directions balanced loading expansion force against the hole wall and allow to used in smaller edge and axial installing space.

Installation Instruction:

1. Drill a hole in the base material to ensure the correct diameter and embedment depth.

2. Use a nylon brush or high pressure air pump to remove all debris and dust.

3. Insert tam shield anchor into the drilled hole until being flush with the surface.

4. Pass a fastener through a guide hole in the fixture and vertically aligned with and close to a substrate hole.

5. To tighten by tool until be fixed fully.
