305477 — Nylon Hammer Drive Anchor

   Nylon hammer drive anchor is a kind of plastic expansion anchor system. It consists of a nylon expanding plug and a screw preassembled, Mushroom head, Cylinder head and Countersunk head styles are available. A steel screw passes through a concentric channel and extends downward from an opening in the head of a nylon plug to the handle until it is just below the opening below the head.The top of the screw has a groove and external threads on the bottom help to lock the anchor in place during installation.

   For installing, to insert nylon plug into the pre-drilled hole and tap or tighten the screw with hammer or screwdriver until it contacts the head of the nylon plug body. Nylon plug is made of high-quality nylon-PA material, with corrosion resistance, UV resistance, excellent strength and flexibility, and can withstand temperatures from -40° to 170°, widely used in plastic expansion anchor systems.

   Nylon hammer anchor belongs to light-medium duty anchor, used for solid base materials such as concrete, brickwall or block. As the screw passes through nylon body, the open end is extended to grasp the hole wall to generate expansion force. also used as toggle fixing bolt or blind rivets in wall boards or gypsum to connect several thicknesses of material together, especially in applications subject to vibration.

Installation Steps:

① Drill a hole in the base material to ensure the correct diameter and applicable depth.

② Use a nylon brush or high pressure air pump to remove all debris and dust.

③ Insert nylon plug into a guide hole in the fixture and vertically pass it through a substrate hole.

④ Tap nylon plug head till being flush with the surface of the fixture.

⑤ Put screw into plug and hit or tighten screw by tool until be fixed fully.
