    Metal expansion wall plugs can replace nylon or plastic wall plugs and use in the places where do not allow to use them for fire protection considerations,special installing base material or greater loading needed and ensure the project installation has more selection conditions. Metal expanding wall plugs are designed a hollow structure body with screw guilding and positioning mechanism inside to realize guidance and positioning function of screw fixing. The bottom of steel wall plug is conical wall plug with external saw teeth to enhance the friction and tensile strength to ensure installing and loading security.

    Metal wall plugs and plastic wall plugs are made of carbon steel and plastic material, and manufactured by punching machine and plastic injection machine separately. Metal expansion plugs are designed to provide medium-heavy duty loading in hollow wall, brick wall, concrete or masonry base structure materials for the installation purpose of anchoring and fixing the objects. 

    Metal expansion wall plugs and plastic expansion wall plugs are both used together with wood screw, self-drilling screw to realize installation purpose to anchor and fix the object, to drive the screw into wall plugs and to expand wall plug body to generate expansion force.

Installation Steps:

① Drill a hole in the base material to ensure the correct diameter and embedment depth.

② Use a nylon brush or high pressure air pump to remove all debris and dust.

③ Insert  metal wall plug into the drilled hole until being flush with the surface.

④ Pass a screw through a guide hole in the fixture and vertically aligned with and close to a substrate hole.

⑤ Tighten screw by tool until be fixed fully.
