314931 — Lipped Drop In Anchor

    Lipped drop in anchor or flange drop in anchor,made of carbon steel, is a kind of mechanical expansion anchor system, composed of an anchor body and a conical built-in steel plug making it easier to enter anchor body and get full expansion function to hammer it by setting tool. Internal threads in steel expansion nut are suitable for flush mounting applications,widely used to anchor and fix the fixture objects in the concrete, masonry, stone and solid brick block substrate. 

    Drop in anchor with lip is internal threaded expansion anchors. The correct shoulder positioning punch ensures complete expansion.Special design of the lip head is different from the common flat head of drop pin anchor, mainly used to be installed flush,avoid precise drilling hole size.

   Simple installing, Pre-drill a hole in substrate and insert the anchor body into a drilled hole until being flush with base material surface,use a proper punching tool to set the anchor correctly and hammer the back of the setting tool until the neck is flush with the top of the anchor. Place the fixture to tighten the machine bolts to required torque.

[Installation Steps]:

❶ Drill a hole in the base material to ensure the proper diameter and depth required.

❷ Use a nylon brush to remove all debris and dust.

❸ Hammer anchor body into the drilled hole till threaded end is flush with substrate surface.

❹ Hit the built-in steel plug with setting tool until the shoulder meets the top of anchor body.

❺ Tighten the bolt or other fasteners to fix and install the objects.
