Concrete Drop In Anchors

   Concrete drop in anchor is an internal thread, heavy duty mechanical expansion anchor,pre-assembled an expanding plug inside. One non-threaded end is cut crossing groove and locked a plastic sheet to fix the steel plug to protect it from sliding from the body no other function. Drop in anchor body is mainly made of stainless steel and carbon steel, but a small part of the copper material. Special setting tools are required for drop in anchor installation. 

Concrete Drop In Anchors

   Drop in expansion anchor has internal thread, accepts M6-1/4" to M20-3/4" inch and metric standard bolts or threaded rods to be flush mounted,called metal expansion nut as well, with half, double or non knurling surface types. It is suitable to be embedded applications in concrete or solid brickwork substrates for anchoring and fixing the objects or connect-fix the rebar or threaded rod. The steel expanding plug is pushed to the bottom of the anchor by using the special setting tool to expand one non-threaded end of the anchorage to realize the expansion function.

 Fasten various sizes of bolts, studs or threaded rods to achieve flexible fixture thickness.

 Use special setting tool to install drop in anchors.

 Suitable for medium-heavy duty loading installation purpose.

[Installation Steps]:

Concrete Drop In Anchors

 Drill a hole in the base material to ensure the proper diameter and depth required.

 Use a nylon brush to remove all debris and dust.

 Hammer anchor body into the drilled hole till threaded end is flush with substrate surface.

 Hit the built-in steel plug with setting tool until the shoulder meets the top of anchor body.

 Tighten the bolt or other fasteners to fix and install the objects.
