343172 — Single Expansion Anchors

    Single expansion anchor is also called concrete single expansion anchor, consisting of two heavy shields and a conical expanding nut in inch internal thread,made by zinc alloy material, which is suitable for the light to medium duty loading in the masonry,concrete or brick wall base materials. Due to the characteristics of the zinc alloy material used, It has strong corrosion resistance and rust proof feature. A conical expaned nut and two pieces of heavy shields are assembled by a strong spring band.

    There are two varieties of zinc alloy single expansion anchor series, with obvious style difference. In the different assembly positions of conical expansion nut, one type of conical expansion nut is external supplying the sizes 3/16 ", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2 ", another type is built-in, with the size specifications of  1/4 ", 5/16", 3/ 8", 1/2",5/8" and 3/4".

    During installation, fix zinc alloy single expansion anchor at the open end of the pre drilled hole, insert the end with the conical nut into the base material, and gently tap by hammer to make it be flush with the surface of the base material, and move the fixture to align with pre-drilled hole. Insert the machine bolt through the guide hole and to fasten the bolt head clockwise until the anchorage is fully seated.

Installation Instruction:

1. Drill a hole in the base material to ensure the correct diameter and no precise depth required.

2. Use a nylon brush or high pressure air pump to remove all debris and dust.

3. Insert the anchor body into the drilled hole in the base material.

4. Pass machine bolt through a guide hole in the fixture, vertically align with and insert into pre-drilled hole.

5. Fasten machine bolt by tool till be fixed fully.
