304635 — Long Spring Channel Nut

    Long spring channel nut is an integral combined nut,comprising a cuboid nut and a spring and fixing with a bolt to prevent loosening from vibration.Long spring nut is one of main strut channel accessories in channel fasteners,widely used to install and fix the frame channel steel, profile combination, channel steel structure and pipeline system.

    The flat-cuboid nut of spring nut is made of carbon steel or stainless steel by stamping process, tapped a threaded hole in the center and stamped dual grooves on one surface. The nut length and width is 34.5 mm and 19 mm, larger than M12-1/2" with 30 mm width. The thickness of nut varies according to different nut size. The spring is clamped on another surface of the nut and made from carbon steel or stainless steel. The length of the long spring type is 38-40 mm, the short spring type is 17-20 mm,special sizes of the nut and the spring can be customized.

    The strut spring nut is designed to provide pull out and side slip resistance to the channel steel used for easy insertion and free movement. The alternate grooves of depressions increase friction along the two edges of channel steel achieve strong wedging effects as the pressure or load increases,insert strut channel nut into any position of the channel steel length and connect channel accessories to combine the other channel steel by fixing the proper bolts or fasteners. Easy to install or remove and save time and workings.

[Installation Steps]:

① Put the spring downwards and the cuboid nut upwards.

② Compress the spring and make the twin grooves align with the two edges of the channel steel.

③ Insert the nut from the opening side and move to put it in the proper place and make the spring support the bottom of the channel steel vertically.

③+Put it the inside of the channel to compress the spring and rotate 90 degress clockwise by hand and ensure the twin grooves to align with the two edges of the channel steel and the spring to support the bottom of the channel steel vertically.

④ Pass a proper fastener through a guide hole in the fixture and screw it into the threaded hole in the middle of the nut.

⑤ To tighten until being fixed fully.
