302639 — Lag Screw Shield Anchor

     Lag screw shield anchor is specially designed for masonry mortar joints of concrete, block,brick and soft base course. They are made of two heavy zinc alloy shields combined by two locking clips. Without internal thread, Need to be fastened with lag screw to realize expansion function.

    Having short and long types with same design principle and function.The length is not same, the outer diameter are same as well. In the soft or weak masonry structure, the long style can provide better strength. But, in the hard masonry structure, because of the shallow drilling depth, the short style can not only shorten the drilling time, but also achieve better expansion coefficient.

    The size of lag shield anchor is specified as lag screw size (diameter) X anchor body length in inch. For both the short and long types, the sizes are available with 1/4"- 3/4". For installing, pre-drill a hole in substrate about 10 mm-15 mm deeper than the length of the anchor body.

Installation Instruction:

❶ Drill a hole in the base material to ensure the correct diameter and no precise depth required.

❷ Use a nylon brush or high pressure air pump to remove all debris and dust.

❸ Insert the anchor body into the pre-drilled hole in the base material. 

☞ Place the end with locking clips upwards.

❹ Knock it with a hammer till the end of the anchor is flush with the base or slightly lower.

❺ Pass lag screw through a guide hole in the fixture, vertically align with and insert into the pre-drilled hole.

❻ Fasten lag screw by tool till be fixed fully.
